Leaked Galaxy Z Flip 4 image shows off Samsung’s upcoming foldable

While we wait for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 to make its official debut next month, we have a leaked photo that shows the foldable clamshell phone from the side.

The image, provided by 91mobiles, appears to be taken from the promotional materials that Samsung is probably putting together. As anticipated, it doesn’t appear like there will be a significant amount of visual changes from the prior edition.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is displayed with the slogan “Next Galaxy” and a brand-new purple color that Samsung is reportedly naming Bora. According to rumors, it will soon be available on a number of additional Samsung smartphones.

All in the details

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is rumored to have a similar look as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, although it’s doubtful that they are identical because the side buttons on the new model are bigger and more obvious.

Compared to the previous model, the camera lenses appear to protrude more from the body, and the overall shape is less tapered. That should result in improved cameras and bigger batteries for the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Although this image doesn’t reveal a lot about the impending foldable phone, it is another proof that the device will be available soon. At the same occasion, a number of new Samsung products, including various smartwatches, are anticipated.

Analysis: bring on the foldables

Both Google and Apple are said to be working on their own foldable handsets, which is encouraging for the future of the form factor. Foldable phones are edging closer and closer to becoming commonplace products.
Samsung, however, is mostly responsible for the growth of the foldable. With the exception of sporadic offers from Huawei and Xiaomi, users wouldn’t have much of an option in this category without the yearly releases of the Z Fold and Z Flip phones. We anticipate seeing the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 whenever Samsung decides to conduct its next hardware presentation. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold is the more traditional foldable, opening and folding like a book.

By all accounts, they should be the best foldable phones we’ve seen yet, and we’re hoping the prices are going to be appealing as well. August is shaping up to be an important month for the near future of foldable phones.
